We present the clinical, laboratory and multiparametric MRI characteristics of patients diagnosed with prostate cancer in patients in a private health institution in Lima. An observational, retrospective study was conducted in outpatients who were admitted for study by prostate-specific antigen tests, MRI and transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsy results during the months of March to May 2022, with a positive diagnosis for prostate cancer. The analysis was performed with SPSS software version 25.0. It was observed that the median age was 64 years, having a PIRADS value greater than 4 as a greater probability of risk of prostate cancer, likewise the increase of each PSA point there is a greater risk of 11.6% of probability of presenting the pathology and this increases with the use of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging.
