Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage is a critical neurological condition. This study delineates the clinical presentation and management of SAH in a private medical center in Lima, Peru, between 2019 and 2021, comparing the findings with
national and international literature. An increased incidence of cases was observed in 2019, potentially due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The median age was 54 years, with a female predominance. Hypertension was the most common comorbidity. The most frequent clinical presentation was headache. Regarding treatment, clipping was the most employed method.
The mortality rate at 28 days stood at 18.2%. Despite its limitations, such as a small sample size, the study offers valuable clinical insights on SaH in a private clinical setting and aligns with international findings. The need for further research to enhance the treatment and management of SAH is emphasized.
