Nodular lymphoid hyperplasia is a rare and benign clinical entity of uncertain etiology, but with some probable associations such as immunodeficiencies. We present the case of a patient who clinically presented with unknown
anemia, whose endoscopic studies showed lesions "lateral spreading tumor" in the cecum. Due to the endoscopic, radiological and pathological appearance of the malignant neoplasm, he underwent a classic right hemicolectomy; and on a second opportunity, due to apparent synchrony or persistence of a tumor lesion in the transverse colon, area of the ileocolonic anastomosis, he underwent a second colonic resection (none of the lesions due to their blind location and ileotransverse anastomosis) were subject to endoscopic resection.
