Características clínico - epidemiológicas de los pacientes covid19 hospitalizados por el servicio de emergencia de la Clínica Internacional Sede Lima en el primer trimestre del año 2021

We present the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of COVID-19 patients hospitalized in a private health institution in Lima. A descriptive, retrospective study was carried out with 222 patients treated and hospitalized by the emergency service of the Clinica Internacional S.L. Male sex predominated, the median age was 56 years, obesity stood out as the main comorbidity, dyspnea was the most frequent clinical manifestation; In patients admitted to the ICU, PaFiO2 less than 200 and lung damage by tomography greater than 50% stand out; the overall mortality was 8.1%. There were no differences in the clinical presentation of the patients, on the other hand, mortality was lower.
