Abstract

A 2-months-old male infant has a diagnosis of Fallot tetralogy. He was programmed by palliative surgery due to clinical deterioration. The preoperative study included echocardiography and computed tomography angiography of the heart and great vessels. A fistule systemic-pulmonary was done, and the ductus arteriosus was closed. In the postoperative, the infant was clinically stable. This article is centered on the utility of computed tomography angiography. It shows many details, a short time of the acquisition, and a low radiation dose. All of these contributed to a better plan for the surgery.
