Henoch-Schönlein purpura is the most common vasculitis in pediatric patients, characterized mainly by palpable purpura, abdominal pain, arthralgias, and kidney damage. Its presentation can be variable, delaying its diagnosis. We report a case of a 13-year-old male patient with an atypical presentation who arrives to the emergency department due to abdominal pain and purpuric lesions predominantly in lower limbs 5 days later the onset of the symptoms.
