Abstract

We present the case of a 70-year-old female patient with a history of previous strokes, who was admitted to the emergency room due to clinical focalization. Imaging studies revealed a lesion suggestive of a brain abscess, and a
transesophageal echocardiogram diagnosed a patent foramen ovale.
